Two days earlier a man wearing a red ski mask and black North Face coat robbed the Turkey Hill Minit Mart in Hometown around 2:10 a. m. and then, at 3:18 a. m. , robbed the Frackville Exxon/Uni-Mart store in West Mahanoy Township. 20 a masked gunman robbed the store and fled with an undetermined amount of cash. Tamaqua Police said the latest robbery happened around 1:15 a. m. when a man wearing a green North Face jacket entered with a bandana over his face, pulled out the weapon and demanded cash. He is described as being about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, police said, adding that bandana covering his face was black and white and that he had a black hood pulled up over his head,. An armed man robbed the Fegley Minit-Mart in Tamaqua early Sunday making off with money from cash registers of that business and a Dunkin Donut shop that shares the same building.
