Does 100 spf sun protection distroys the face?

I was wondering if the 100 spf sun protection destroys the face skin or not I'm speaking about white British sensitive skin lives in Egypt.

Egypt is very hot and your British skin won't be 100% use too such heat, and it will take a while.
I think SPF 100 is good to start of with, though I am no expert at all, just keep yourself...
